The conference will be held at Wellcome Genome Campus
Address: Hinxton Hall Conference Centre, Wellcome Genome Campus
Hinxton, Cambridgeshire, CB10 1RQ, United Kingdom
The Wellcome Genome Campus Conference Centre is a beautiful complex within the Hinxton Hall Estate and its 125-acre parkland bordering the river Cam. It is located alongside research institutions that are both at the forefront of the biomedical revolution and home to life-changing scientific history, creating a unique combination of atmosphere, history and cutting-edge science.
The Campus opened its doors in 1998, six years after the Wellcome Trust bought Hinxton Estate, restoring Hinxton Hall and transforming it, and its old stable block and kitchen garden, into a purpose-built Conference Centre. During 2012-2015 the venue was further developed by the addition of an elliptical roof of steel and glass covering 1600m² of new exhibition and breakout spaces, now offering a variety of meeting rooms accommodating from 2 to 300 delegates. There are also 136 en-suite bedrooms available, as well as catering services, enabling large residential scientific meetings and conferences to take place on the Campus.
In the Conference and Exhibition Hall the latest audio-visual, WiFi and air-conditioning technologies will serve the convenience of all participants. Exhibition booths will be located in the vicinity of the lecture hall in the coffee break and lunch area.
